Since 1900, the grand father took the Haut Forez roads to collect the lace makers projects. Fashion leading fashion, the father chose to furnish curtains. An activity which lasted until 1975.
The necessity to succeed runs through the family as for today's Head Director of STOF. Claude Pelardy founded in 1987 the Company Stof Forezienne Textiles which was a negotiating enterprise for furnishing fabrics. In 1993 Stof place on the national and international market, its creations based on animal and ethnical designs. These strong designs allowed the company to sit on their assists and confirm the excellent place it has in the furnishing fabric trade.
Finally to follow its expansion the Company flit to a new local in 1995 in the President founders birth place, and in 1996 they buy the Company PTA Laura Lancelle which enable them to widen their choice of fabrics, but keeping their own identities.
The Company Stof keep on their way and develop their export activity, by exposing at International Fairs like Heimtextil and Decosit.
In 2001, the Company double their capacity for stocking stock, in the aim to improve their services towards quick delivery and strong near by sales.
Beginning of 2003, Stof combined with PTA Laura Lancelle , and becomes the Company Forezienne Textile, but each keeping their individual identity.
Always anxious to improve and to propose new products to their customers, the Company Forezienne Textile developed since the beginning of 2004 the universal mark Sidonie addressed to DIY shops and hypermarkets with ready made products with a strong identity (bed linen etc)

Since 2005 we have associated with a spanish company, the company Athena, which enables STOF to be stronger in its productions.
So much pleasure with such succes, in 1989 the company edits their own collection of printed fabrics with such strong ambitions and under impulse of the Head Director the company STOF now propose finished products (bed linen, and table linen), a styling department is now open to be able to propose these original products. The company propose two new collections each year.
