OEKO-TEX
STOF obtained OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification for a majority of its fabrics sold by the meter in 2023, and for its ready-made items in 2025.
There are 4 different classes of certification. Our products have been categorized in the following two classes:
- Product class I (certificate no. CQ 1325/1): This product class includes baby products, with the most stringent requirements and limit values.
- Product class II (certificate no. CQ 1325/2, CQ 1325/3 and CQ 1325/4): This product class includes products in contact with the skin, such as bed linen.
The principle behind OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification is to draw up a technical file to ensure that our suppliers/manufacturing plants produce our fabrics according to strict specifications concerning products that may be harmful to humans. Each component of a product is tested by independent laboratories (in our case, the IFTH).
GOTS
Since 2021, the LAGUNE (bath linen) and HORIZON (bed linen) product ranges have been certified by ECOCERT for the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) label. These products are made from cotton whose fibers are 100% organically grown.
GOTS certification guarantees :
- Environmentally-friendly production and transformation processes
- Respecting and improving working conditions
- Promoting the use of organic fibers
- A ban on hazardous inputs such as toxic heavy metals, aromatic solvents, etc.
